After the decent response from buyers about BlackBerry PlayBook, mobile phone manufacturer RIM is oozing with confidence. That’s why now it is coming with second generation BlackBerry tablet, christened as BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0. The widget has already been unveiled last week in Consumer Electronic Show at Las Vegas in order to stimulate desires of gadget geeks.
Apart from ushering second generation of BlackBerry PlayBook, free update for the owners of BlackBerry PlayBook will also be on platter from next month. We are hoping that this new update on the tablet will be able to rectify not only a number of shortcomings into the tablet which was launched in April 2011, but it will also improve user interface. So, if you already have BlackBerry PlayBook, you need not be disappointed, on the contrary you have reasons to be happy.
Here are some mains attributes, you can expect from the new table of the RIM.
Better Control, More E-Mails
With the new tablet, you are going to have unified inbox which provides you easily manageable personal e-mail and work e-mail accounts, while previously you could read e-mail message only from webmail accounts such as Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail etc. apart from the exception of bridging the tablet with a nearby BlackBerry smart phone that could read your corporate or ISP e-mail. Besides, it will also be integrated with popular social networking sites, such as Twitter and Facebook etc. Furthermore, you can add e-mail signatures directly from the tablet.
Better Calendar and Contact Access
The new tablet of the RIM will also have ‘people centric calendar’, as the company calls it. This built in application will also enable you to tap on a contact highlighted on a calendar entry (such as, “meeting with Mr. Lela at 2PM”) apart from general calendar uses. Furthermore, information form social networking sites will be also be available in your contacts applications.
Reliable Wireless Connectivity
With BlackBerry Bridge feature, you can wirelessly tether the tablet with a neighboring BlackBerry smart phone via Bluetooth connection. Furthermore, if the tablet is bridged with a smart phone of the brand, you can also enjoy physical keyboard of the smart phone to type an e-mail on the tablet.
Above all, the new BlackBerry PlayBook can also be plugged with a television via HDMI cable and then you can directly paly and pause movies on your TV screen. All in all, there are hundreds of wonders waiting for you with the second generation table of the RIM.
