Lead ore concentrating:
Many steps are used for obtaining the Lead from Lead Ore (Lead Ore Refining Process), these process/steps are mining the Ore, Concentrating the ore, Flotation, Filtering, Roasting the ore, Blasting, Refining, and Casting.

After removing the ore from the mine, it is treated at a concentrating mill. In Concentrating process all waste rock is removed from the Lead. To begin, the ore must be crushed into very small pieces. The ore is ground at the mill, leaving it in particles with diameters of 0.1 millimeter or less. This means the individual granules are finer than table salt. The texture is something like granulated sugar.

Lead ore crushing and grinding process:
When the lead ore is loaded into stockpile, the lead ore processing plant will play a part.
First, the large block of blasted lead ore will be fed into primary crusher by vibrating feeder, after primary crushing, the crushed lead ore will be transferred to secondary crusher for further crushing via belt conveyor. In this process, cone crusher may be needed in order to get more small particles. Then the vibrating screen will sieve and separate the crushed lead ore into different piles according size in diameter.
After the crushing process, raw lead ore will be taken to grinding mill line. The grinding mill will grind the lead ore into particles with diameters of 0.1 millimeter or less.
After the grinding process, the ground lead ore will be loaded to a flotation plant.

Lead is extracted from ores dug from under-ground mines. Over 95% of all lead mined is derived from one of Galena , cerussite and anglesite. The most common is called galena.
