Homemade weight loss drinks are a very good way for losing weight. These drinks are very low in calorie and are high in nutrition. There are many weight loss supplements as well. These are some of the natural ways to lose weight. Given below is the list of drinks for weight loss:

1. Lemonade

Lemons are a very rich source of nutrients and vitamins. Lemon juice in warm water will help to kick start the digestive tract. The colon can be cleaned out. Fresh lemon juice should be mixed in two quarts of chilled and fresh water. Then, half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper should be added to it. maple syrup can also be added. Lemonade with maple syrup is a very popular drink for weight loss. Thus, its effectiveness has been proved over the years.

2. Tomato yoghurt shake

1 cup of tomato juice should be mixed with 1 cup of yoghurt. This yoghurt should be without fats. Half a teaspoon of lemon juice should be added. Then pepper and grated ginger should be added. After mixing up all the ingredients, they should be blended for 30 seconds. Then, they can be served in a glass.

3. Chocolate milk shake

2 teaspoon of chocolate extracts should be added to skimmed milk. Then this mixture should be blended with ice for a minute for getting a frothy and thick shake. Cocoa which is present in the milk shake usually contains antioxidants that help in the process of fat burning. Other ingredient i.e. skimmed milk is high on nutrition and low on fat.

4. Cold water

This is the most simplest of all weight loss drinks. If 8 to 10 glasses of water are consumed, approximately 250 calories can be burned per day. A glass of water should be drunk half an hour before the meals. This will make a person feel full and he will end up eating very less.

5. Fruit smoothie

This is another delicious homemade drink which will help in losing weight. Fruit smoothie must be taken as an alternative to various fattening drinks. These can be taken as a treat after the workout as well as in breakfast. Fruit smoothie is usually made with fruit, ice and yoghurt. This recipe can also be prepared with skimmed or soy milk.
