Sky Signs - A Large Big City Sign
The LED option for sky signs has many advantages over neon the most obvious being: cheaper running costs and general longevity. Given this type of sign is difficult to get to (since it requires access equipment – which requires road permits, council permits, police permits and traffic management), it makes sense to use materials or components that don’t need general maintenance very often. When installing this type of signage it can be wise to check for anchor points on the roof. If the building does have anchor points an alternative to the access equipment can be an abseil installation. This has many benefits for the client. Firstly it is a far cheaper method of installing signage (since there are no project specific permits that need to be applied), next you save on the cost of hiring a crane or boom and lastly you are not inconveniencing the general public by closing off the road or impacting on traffic flow.
