For a passionate cat lover like you, having your cat without food would simply feel atrocious. However, there will be times when you would run out of cat food and there’ll be no way to get some right away. Normally, you’d dash right to the pet store and get bulks of cat food. But what if you’re well away from the nearest store or you don’t have money to spend? At times like this, when money doesn’t come easy for an urgent need, you must know how to find alternatives. You can find extra money online to buy cat food the next day. However, knowing some alternatives to cat food can certainly save your cat from hunger and you from having to find easy money right away. Read on to learn some tips: Meat combos. Raid your fridge for some meat, like chicken, goat, lamb, or beef, or fish. Cut them up to feline bite sizes and you can opt to give them fresh to your cats. Provided the meat is unquestionably fresh, giving it raw shouldn’t be a problem. Otherwise, cook it first before serving. You can also combine it with rice or pasta. Drizzle it with sauce for more flavor. Breads and biscuits. An alternative to cat biscuits would be real bread, crackers, and cereals. You can serve any of these with sauce or give them as is. Choose those products that are neither too salty nor sweet. Dairy products. If you ran out of the usual cat milk, a good alternative would be any processed dairy milk. You can also give yoghurt. Be careful though in giving these products because your cat may be intolerant to some of them. Make sure the products are fresh and well away from expiration. Fruits and vegetables. Your cat can have something fresh and nutritious, too, so if you have an abundance of fruits like avocado and veggies like beans and carrots, you’re in luck. Combine these with rice and meat or give them in chewable pieces for your cat to snack on. Cakes. Although it is bad to overindulge your cat with super sweet foods, an occasional slice of cake is fine. Make sure that the cake is not too sweet though so remove the frostings and candied trimmings before giving to your pet. These alternatives are simple and won’t have you needing easy money. But be sure to provide real cat food soon so find some extra money online. Apply for loans from the reputable lenders only.
