Rupinder Singh Khurana, is a London based Chef who is working in a leading luxury hotel. He is 35 yrs old and is settled in London since past 8 years.

Rupinder Singh Khurana originally hails from Liverpool where he was born and did his schooling. Born to doctor parents, everybody including his family and friends expected him to follow the footsteps of his parents and become a doctor. He however, had other plans for himself. He surprised everyone when he disclosed his desire to pursue a course in hotel management right after completing his schooling. His family was not only surprised but was also against his decision. After some failed attempts to dissuade him from joining the course, his family accepted his decision.

After securing a seat in a hotel management institute, Rupinder Singh Khurana moved to London to pursue the course. He gained a lot of knowledge on different subjects in his course. Having a genuine interest in cooking, he chose to specialize in cookery and learnt a lot of recipes and new dishes. After completing the course, he got his first job at a restaurant chain where he started working as a junior cook. He went on to work with the restaurant for almost two years. That job made him familiar with various new dishes. He then decided to pursue an advanced course in cookery.

After doing some research on various institutes that are offering courses on cooking Rupinder Singh Khurana focused on two or three good institutes in Australia. After securing admission in one of the institute, he finally moved to Australia to pursue the course. After successfully completing his course, he took up a job in Sydney with a hotel and went on to work there for three years. He finally decided to come back to London.

By now, he had gained considerable experience in the industry and has gained substantial theoretical knowledge as well. That’s the reason, finding a job didn’t prove to be a difficult task for him. He started working with a luxury hotel chain where he is now working as a senior chef.

With a successful career, he has managed to shatter all the myths that his parents had. He is happy and satisfied with the way his career has shaped up.
