There are several truths about online dating that you should be aware of, and showing some uniqueness and independence to your personality is definitely one of them. Behaving like everyone else all the time shows that you lack confidence in yourself.

One way to show uniqueness is in your choice of clothes. In clubs, for instance, keep in mind that we want to look different than others. If everyone is dressed with showy clothes, wearing something not so flashy just might work. Remember to not deviate too far from the norm in this case, and still maintain some maturity in your choice of clothing- wearing sneakers and shorts is probably never a good idea!

Sometimes wearing accessories can further enhance your magnetism. Wear something unique that represents your personality. Don’t go for flashy accessories that come off as disingenuous. Of course, the attitude you have is more important than clothing. If you are covered with gold but when you open your mouth nothing interesting comes out, you will lose your appeal. Notice how some guys can pull off gold chains but others just come across as insincere show-offs?

The advice given above obviously applies to not only online dating, but dating and relationship building in general. Remember to stand out and be yourself, and you will have taken the first important step in mastering the online dating game.
