Costa Blanca Holidays for the place to spend a lifetime
A lot of people choose COSTA BLANCA HOLIDAYS because of the natural beauty that surrounds the pristine beaches covered in golden sand and gently caressed by the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. When you add all the water sports on offer to the historical buildings, restaurants, atmospheric bars and a shopping experience not to be forgotten, you discover a place that is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. People travel to this place all year round to do little more than enjoy the natural surroundings in all of its glory. When you land at the airport, the worries of the world simply slip from your shoulders. The Alicante province and its beaches have been influenced by the Moors more than you think. When the Moors first came to Spain their port of call was Gibraltar. They first occupied the 200 kilometre long stretch of coastline that took in what is now known as the Costa Blanca. While they were here they improved the beaches in one way or another. Some of this improvement included monumental buildings and creating an agriculture business in the countryside that surrounded the beach, plus many more projects they initiated which are based on historical records. It’s hard to believe that there are thousands of visitors that come to this area each year only to return the next season. There are even some Hollywood movies shot on these beaches. For the most part all the beaches have been awarded the European Blue Flag for cleanness, safety and the availability of all required facilities for the whole family. It’s nice to know that you can bring the family to a clean tidy beach where you can safely enjoy the day with all your family and not worry about them swimming or boating in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. If you take a stroll down the beach you will undoubtedly run across some of the little secluded coves where you can spend a little quiet time. In the Alicante province there is the Sierra mountain range where you can trek or go mountain climbing. With the astounding cliffs located in this area attracting a lot of rock climbers and people interested in the rare rock formations found here, you would not be surprised. You can tell someone all day long about the view from the top of a mountain and it doesn't mean anything until they actually experience it. The view from the top of these mountains is truly awesome. Another place to visit on the Costa Blanca is the Santa Barbara castle in Alicante, which is believed to have been built sometime in the eleventh century. This is a good place to bring the family and do a little exploring. The constructors believed that this castle presented an excellent location to watch their enemies and the pirates as they moved along the coast. There are a number of places while on your COSTA BLANCA HOLIDAYS that are ideal for those who are interested in the sport of trekking, mountain climbing, mountain biking and paragliding that you can participate in on any one of these magnificent mountains. With a yearly temperature average of 18 degrees Celsius and sunshine for 320 days of the year, you couldn't ask for more except the time to enjoy all of this area.
