Different folder uses but not limited to the actual use, you can use your pocket folders anyway you want and need it: Company information folder, Presentation folders, CD holders, Portfolios, Report covers, Document folders, File folders. 2. Folder sizes. The common folder sizes are those of the sizes of normal papers like A4, A5 and legal sizes. If you wish to make the folders smaller you may request so, just be accurate and make sure that the largest and widest paper you will be including in your folder is the size of your folder. You can also request the folders orientation changed to landscape should you need it to be. 3. Pockets. Pocket can either be vertical or horizontal. They can also be just one or two choosing from right or left. If you prefer a little different pocket for your folder especially how they are cut, you can request your pockets to be customized to your specifications taking into consideration the papers that you will be putting on it. 4. Colors. You have the option to have your folder prints on one side only (obviously the front) or you can include the back and allow colors on both sides. Colors are on of the important things you need to choose from well so make sure your colors reflect what you or your company is about. If your company has a particular color that is already identified with them then stick with that color. If not, pick something unique but professional, subtle but visible. 5. Business card and CD slits. To make your folders even more meaningful and so the folder receivers can have your contact information should they find what you presented meaningful, you can have slits created to hold your business cards and CDs in place. You will also have to specify where you want your slits placed and how you want it to be cut. There are rounded or straight slits with either 2 or 4 for your business cards and a single or double slit for your CDs. Ask your printers what holds your add-ons in place and where it would be placed nicely without interfering with your other contents. 6. Reinforcement. Are heavy items or a lot of papers to be inserted in your folder? Request to add reinforced edges for your folder to make it stronger and sturdier. 7. Extra Capacity Folders. More papers to be added? Tell your printers for an extra capacity folder this may not be the common folders but it can always be customized to suit your needs. 8. Paper Stock. Gloss as it is normally called by regular people can either be on one side of your folder only or both. You can also choose should you prefer not to include any cover for your folder. You can also request for a lighter paper stock to be friendlier to Mother Nature. Pocket folder printing takes and average of one to five days depending on the volume of prints you are requesting.
