It is going to be only a few days before the IFA 2011 and it already looks like HTC will be having two new phones to display at this incredible event. The company recently launched the HTC Titan ahead of the event and it is truly a great phone to look forward to. The HTC Titanlooks very much like every other Windows phones that was launched in recent times, but it is certainly different due to the operating system that it will possess. Unlike the other Windows phones, the HTC Titan will be one of the first to introduce the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system. So far, it has been called as the Mango version of the operating system, but one expects it to be renamed it to the 7.5 version once it is launched officially.

The HTC Titan will be a phone that is not going to be taken lightly. This is straightaway visible from the 4.7 inch display that this phone provides. This certainly has to be the largest ever display that HTC has ever provided, which certainly puts an enormous strain on the part of HTC to deliver the best of technologies for the screen. They seem to have worked on this enormously, as the screen will provide the Super Clear LCD display unit along with the WVGA resolution. The pixel density of 199 ppi is also something that works in the favour of the phone, which will also have the ability to support the switching between landscape and portrait modes due to the accelerometer. Besides that you may also wish to take a look at HTC Evo 3D for other available deals.

The HTC Titan will have the support of 16 GB of memory internally in order to store new content. As with every other Windows phones launched up until now, this will not be different when it comes to the memory that it provides. Hence, there is no other way to expand the memory. In fact, there's no way to expand the memory at all and one has to be satisfied with the internal memory alone. It would have been a major problem if the phone did not provide enough amount of memory internally, but since it provides the same, one can easily take advantage of the huge number of entertainment options at the disposal of the phone.

The 1.5 GHz processor is certainly one of the reasons why this phone has been chosen ahead of the rest of the pack. The phone provides the same eight megapixel unit that seems to be standard fare when it comes to the phones that offer the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system. The presence of autofocus, LED Flash and Geotagging enable the phone to take high quality images, while the video recording is enhanced by the 720 p HD video capabilities. The front facing camera in the phone is a 1.3 megapixel unit, which can make use of the 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity options to enable video calling. The availability of the HTC Titan in the UK is likely to be known within the next few weeks.
