The BlackBerry Curve 9360 is the model that will be looking to build on the popularity that the BlackBerry Bold 9900 has achieved within a few weeks of its launch. The phone will be providing most of the features that you can see in the BlackBerry Bold 9900, but being a member of the Curve series, it undoubtedly has some cutbacks in certain areas in order to be less pricey. The BlackBerry Curve 9360 seems to achieve more than this because it will be providing a variety of the options, although this is partly because of the operating system that it uses. No longer will the new BlackBerry OS 7 be accessible only to the high-end premium phones, but it will now be available in the BlackBerry Curve 9360 as well.

One of the main reasons that enable this phone to provide support to this operating system has to be the 800 MHz processor. In addition to this, the BlackBerry Curve 9360 will also carry the 512 MB of RAM, which enables it to support a variety of operations at the same time. Multitasking is certainly a stressful task, but the presence of an incredible amount of RAM certainly helps the BlackBerry Curve 9360 in providing support to various applications at the same time. Besides that you may also wish to take a look at Blackberry Torch 9860 for other available deals.

The BlackBerry Curve 9360 is certainly a business phone to the core and one can realise this by taking a look at the absence of the touch screen display coupled with the presence of the physical full QWERTY keyboard. More attention has been provided to the physical full QWERTY keyboard in order to ensure that it is of the best when it comes to the quality and ease of use. Despite the presence of this feature, the BlackBerry Curve 9360 has a weight of only 99 g, which is certainly very surprising.

It is very much like the Samsung Galaxy S2 of the business phone world. The dimensions may not be able to match that of the BlackBerry Bold 9900, but it is certainly respectable by any means. The BlackBerry Curve 9360 will be providing the five megapixel camera seen in a number of BlackBerry phones up until now, but it will not be providing the high end features like the 720 p HD video recording seen in the BlackBerry Bold 9900.

Instead, it will be only supporting the normal video recording, but it is not too bad given the quality of the camera. In terms of the imaging, though, the camera supports the LED flash and the Geotagging option. The phone will provide the NFC support, which is certainly a welcome addition given that it is extremely hard to see this connectivity option making it into the mid-range smartphone segment. This puts the connectivity options in the BlackBerry Curve 9360 on par with most of the high-end phones today. The BlackBerry Curve 9360 will cost you £ 299 without any contract options in the United Kingdom. It will cost anywhere between £ 40-£ 45 per month on contracts.
