COSTA BLANCA HOLIDAYS are great for rock climbers and those who love to climb and walk. A stay in this area is a popular summer and winter destination, and winter provides a unique experience and an alternative to the summer vacation most tourists visit for. The Spanish climate offers an exciting climbing season and among many mountainous regions of Spain is the province of Alicante.

The Costa Blanca contains many small towns and resorts throughout the region with climbing opportunities during the holiday season, with the proliferation of cheap flights and tourists interested in an excellent weather. Have you thought about visiting during the winter however? This is a favourite among adventure tourists coming to Costa Blanca. If you are a beginner climber there are a number of packages are ideal for you and your skills. When you participate in some of these climbs, they match with the adventure sought by the world's most advanced climbers although with the challenge appropriate to your abilities. You could also think of joining a large tour group that offers great teaching that develops safety and help to make your first ascent a success.

Most of these tour operators offer a day of eight hours of instruction. As you learn and gain knowledge, the challenges will become more difficult. Many tour operators offer all the necessary equipment for these tours. Once you get your itinerary and the information you learn what is included in the package. You will only need to pack your climbing boots. More popular six-day packages include breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight accommodation. Weekly excursions are usually five or six days long.

But if you love the ocean more than the land, you could think of kayaking as a great way to experience nature along the Costa Blanca. These kayaking trips can be as short as a few hours or as long as one to three days. These tours are available in Spain throughout the year and most include all the relevant equipment. You are required to bring appropriate clothing and sunscreen though. The tours include most meals and accommodation too.

For the COSTA BLANCA HOLIDAYS involving something that is a bit less adventurous but still offering a chance to enjoy the natural character of the land, think about a walking tour. These tours are available for a long weekend or a whole week, offering the holidaymaker the opportunity to explore the Mediterranean coast, valleys, ancient ruins, ancient farms, incredible rock formations and numerous monuments accessible only by foot. Most trips include suitable accommodation and dining. You can stay in one place (suitable for ground transportation) throughout the tour, or move to a different hotel or hostel every night. All of the food is included however you are responsible for providing your own comfortable clothes and boots.
