EC-Auto Body, San Francisco’s premier and trusted Auto Body and Collision Repair experts have a few quick tips for Safe Driving no matter your commute in the San Francisco – Bay Area.
EC-Auto Body has repaired many cars after all types of accidents. Ranging from heavy collision repair with frame damages to minor dent and scratch removal.
Here are some quick tips for Driving Safer in the San Francisco – Bay Area.
1. Before you get into your car, do a quick tire check – look to see if any tires are flat or have a puncture. The tires are very important when driving, as they are what make contact with the road.
2. Keep the social and mobile media and electronic devices away from the driver. A driver has all the responsibility for everything that occurs inside of the car. With that said, focus on the road is the objective, and keeping texts messages and Smartphone’s are hazardous distractions. Keep those bad habits in check and focus more on the road.
3. If your car’s brakes are screeching and the brakes are terribly worn out – DO NOT DRIVE Your Car with Worn Out Brakes. Driving with worn brakes is dangerous and puts everyone at risk. Maintaining your car’s brakes is a vital necessity because the problems that arise from lack of maintenance can be costly and highly dangerous.
4. Visibility is crucial for Safe and pleasant driving in the San Francisco – Bay Area. The Bay Area has many microclimates and sometimes road conditions change very fast especially if there is a storm approaching. When driving it makes a world of difference when you have a pair of windshield wipers, and properly functioning lights. Driving at night and especially in the fog with malfunctioning lights is dangerous and the police will pull you over and the driver will get a citation for it as well. Make sure all your lights are working properly and the wipers are in good condition.
5. Drive maturely and with a good happy mind. Studies have shown that people driving with less emotional stress are safer drivers. They are less forgetful and pay more attention on the road and are less likely to get into accidents.
No one wants to get into an accident, so lets all do our part and be safe on the road.
