Whether you use it as an invitation to an event or exhibit, a promotional material for your services or products or simply a reminder for an appointment, postcards are still considered to be the best promotional materials around. For one, you only have one page. You do not have to spend a lot of budget on postcard printing. Another reason is that it comes so handy that it can even be a use as a decoration. These are actually just two reasons why up to now, more and more companies are maintaining its core advertisement efforts through these cards. Read on as you discover that there are actually more ways than one why cards are still the best among the rest.

1. Cheaper fees in postcard printing. You may spend quite a big amount on printing these postcards but that would already mean printing a lot for your company’s campaign. Unlike other marketing materials where you have to allot a big chunk of a company’s budget to the printing because there is a need to print a lot of pages.

2. Higher response rate. Among the promotional materials in print that I have known, postcards are most likely to earn a high response rate considering that you can mail it right to your target customers or to your client. On the other hand, brochures, posters or catalogs are distributed to an unknown market at the comfort of malls, boutiques or other establishments. Billboards may also be big but it limits the market to those who can only pass by the area.

3. You can reproduce it at a lesser cost. More cards mean more cost to pay but printing these cards will not give you as much expense as compared to printing brochures and catalogs which would require a lot of pages. The volume needed to cover your market may eat a big chunk of your company’s budget for printing materials like brochures.

4. Predictability of response. Since you know the date when you have these cards sent, you will most probably have the idea when it will reach your target customer. This adds to your advantage because you can come up with ideas or promotions in line with the cards you sent to create a sense of urgency so that your target customer will act quickly.

5. You can distribute frequently. Since cards cost less than other promotional print materials, you can frequently send your target customers offers that they can avail. Your card may not be noticed the first time you send it but sending it on a scheduled basis will give the product the chance to be noticed.

6. Attractively designed to capture the target market. Cards can really be captivating and it can easily make heads turn. It often ends up as a decoration on boards or refrigerator giving your product the potential to be seen by other people other than your target customer. It is important that in thinking of a concept for your design, you have your customers in mind. By planning for a design that will surely attract them, you have already won ahead your competitors.

Postcards can go a long way if you know how to maximize its use. By keeping these advantages in mind, postcard printing projects will always be something good for you to look forward in the coming days.
