NVE Bank Grants Scholarship to Bergen Community College Student

Englewood, NJ, May 10th, 2011- NVE Bank recently participated in the 11th Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony hosted by Bergen Community College Foundation. On April 26th, Robert Rey- President of NVE Bank & Ed Rolfe- First Senior Vice President, awarded a $500 scholarship to Selma Becirovic, a sophomore student studying General Liberal Arts at Bergen Community College.

Mr. Rey and Mr. Rolfe met with the recipient before the ceremony began and had the chance to speak with her regarding her aspirations in life and plans for the future. “We are very proud to be a part of this special time in Selma’s life and to be able to give back to the communities we serve,” said Robert Rey, President of NVE Bank.

“I am well on my way to achieving my academic goals and hope that with my degree, I will be able to make a difference for others in a way as meaningful as the NVE Bank Scholarship has for me,” noted Ms. Becirovic.
