The World goes “WoW” with ACETECH!
The glittering ceremony of Lemon Mobiles presents Gitanjali WOW Awards 2011 culminated at Taj Lands End, Mumbai on April 21. The WOW Awards were instituted in 2009 by EVENTFAQS to celebrate excellence in Events, Entertainment and LIVE Experience creation. Awards were given out in 25 categories of varied formats of events and experiences at the ceremony and MICE were an important category as a new inclusion to the WOW Awards. The ceremony was a true testimony of the event and entertainment industry with a glittering lineup of artist performances including, Sameera Reddy, Yana Gupta, Kailash Kher, Hard Kaur, Claudia Ceisla and an awesome stand up act by Cyrus Sahukar and Ankur Tewari and a signature international act by Yogi's Angels. The hosts for the evening were Parizad Kolah Marshall, Mona Singh and Vishal Malhotra. Amidst much fanfare and noise, ACETECH, the flagship exhibition by Asian Business Exhibition & Conferences Ltd. (ABECL), won a Gold WoW Award as the Exhibition Property of the Year! The entire ABECL team cheered as the award was received by Sumit Gandhi, CEO & Project Director of ACETECH and Manish Gandhi, Executive Director of Asian Business Exhibition & Conferences Ltd. The Jury Chairman Sanjay Jain, Chief Marketing Officer, Reliance Capital, was highly impressed with the nomination of ACETECH as he said “it’s a humongous property and deserved to win an honor!” Team ABECL has been thrilled on receiving this award. Years of hard work and sheer determination has finally culminated into an honor and acknowledgement by the industry. Sumit Gandhi said, “When ACETECH was born, we were proud of this magnificent property that it turned out to be.
