Barcelona doesn’t have to be Expensive for Holiday Rentals
It can be expensive staying in HOLIDAY RENTALS IN BARCELONA, one of Spain's vibrant cities. It’s an exciting European city with an increasing popularity but its reputation as a hot metropolis of the Mediterranean have all added to the slowly increasing prices. With everything that makes Barcelona: the sea front, the Spanish village “Poble Espanyol de Montjuic” where every type of house and architecture is represented in different quarters, Las Ramblas the long road that separates Barcelona across the middle a fascinating walk on its own, of course not forgetting Antoni Gaudi's impressive Segrada Famillia the unfinished Cathedral. Other places of interest include, especially for the football fans, Barcelona's football club museum or the Barcelona Zoo for a fun day with the kids, especially if they’re bored with all the museum visits. Finding suitable, inexpensive apartments are getting harder all the time so maybe instead of renting within the city itself, you could get an apartment outside with its own bonuses. Badalona is a nearby city where prices are still low enough and the distance between the two is nothing for someone with a rented car. That way a group or family can enjoy both day and night life of Barcelona without the extravagant prices of the bigger city life. You would still be able to enjoy a night out at one of the big theatres although it would mean someone would need to keep off from the alcohol for the evening. Alternatively there are plenty of companies that offer tours to the big city from all over Spain. Let someone else take the strain out of the night driving: if anything there is always the safety issue of idiots who drive drink-laden on the main road even with the stringent Spanish drinking laws. An alternative is the train taking the strain although you would have to return earlier in the evening. Badalona has many of its own sites equally worth seeing. For instance the open air Catalunya en Miniature has models on a scale of 1:25 of the important buildings and monuments in Catalunya. There are also several Roman ruins including baths and a dozen other artefacts in the city. One of Spain's most famous monasteries is here: the Saint Jeroni de la Murta was constructed in the 14th century and is the venue where Christopher Columbus met with the Catholic Monarchs before heading to America from Andalucia. Of course, Badalona has its own restaurants if you decide not to go down to Barcelona for the evening. Another place to try for an apartment could be the town of Sant Cugat del Vallès. It is about 20 kilometres from Barcelona, and has its own underground service offering services directly into Barcelona. The main sites to see in Sant Cugat del Vallès are the monastery of Sant Cugat, the hermitage of Sant Medir built in the 10th century, the Torre Negra built on the spot where Saint Cucuphas was martyred and a gothic bridge. There are plenty of smaller towns that surround Barcelona all within 20 kilometres of the city and most of them have ways of getting to the city. There are trams, trains and even buses if you do not have a car while on your HOLIDAY RENTALS IN BARCELONA. Disclaimer: Article submitters are solely responsible for the content of their articles.
