Spain is not so much of a Cultural Shock for Owners
Villa OWNERS DIRECT their clients every time to the best places to visit near their homes, what else would anyone need when self catering in Spain? Spain is one of the few countries in the world that the locals love it so much they stay for their holidays in Spain. If that is not a recommendation I do not know what is? What is it that Spain has that no other country can offer? Well for one thing, Spain has so many different regions each unique to the other. Even when travelling through a region, any region, the changes between one city and the next village can be large. It is easy to see why people return year after year to the same place. It is the reason why so many foreigners have holiday homes there apart from the fact that they were so cheap to buy a few years ago. It was an ideal place because so much to explore one could fill a lifetime and still not see everything it is to see. Sure one beach is much like the next, but head inland and find all the real panoramic vistas that change so much. There are places that are so desolate the ground is dry and arid. It is like walking on the moon with hardly any thing moving and even the wildlife seems to have dried up. Other places have been used for films; in fact in Andalucia a whole Wild West town awaits people to wander its streets to taste a bit of the old west. Turn a corner and the ground is so lush and so colourful it is a paradise on earth and without village or town in sight to spoil the view. Head into a town: take your pick of which. Most of the coastal towns were built as tourist resorts with fantastic boutiques and fancy names, pedestrianised malls, tree lined plazas surrounded by small bars and restaurants. Where anybody can take the afternoon off and join in the people watching with a coffee or better still a glass of beer or wine. Where else in the world can someone go skiing in the morning and swimming in the sea that same afternoon? Travelling in Spain allows the tourist a vivid insight to the culture of the country, its abundant beauty and a wide diversity of attractions. Beaches where every sport is open to everyone experienced and novice alike. Children will love the aqua parks with almost one in every town all down the Costas. There are plenty of other recreational places to visit, historical sites to see. What is there to see and do? Well imagine it and it will be there, from the grandest of churches to towering mountains or even volcanoes, natural parks, safari parks, children's parks and beaches which stretch further than the eye can see. Hire a car and the world’s your oyster. Whether on the mainland or on an island, everywhere has its story to tell. Go deep sea diving searching shipwrecks, underwater caves and spectacular marine life. Swim back to the surface and visit caves on land used as concert halls on festive occasions. Where else can someone walk into a town straight into a procession with giant figures carried by 50 men, or walk into another town and be pelted by tomatoes or chased by bulls. Spain is an inspiration to writers, artists, designers and film directors. So next time you are thinking about a holiday check out OWNERS DIRECT for the ideal villa in Spain.
