How many times have you thought of throwing away that old lip gloss of yours, but decided not to? Girls!
The idea of using expired lipsticks is one of the worst things that you can do for your lips. You may be surprised
to know that actually use of such products leads to-
#1. Darkening of lips
#2. Irritation
#3. Angular Cheilitis
#4. Other lip allergies
It is very important to keep a tab of what you buy and when to throw it away. During the time when I was suffering
from Angular Cheilitis, I noticed that none of my lipsticks were suiting me.
Their application resulted in a burning sensation and it made by situation worse. Later on I got to know that use
of expired or wrong lipsticks can be a major cause of Angular Cheilitis. When I say “wrong lipsticks,” I don’t mean
the use of wrong shades, but I am talking about using lipsticks or lip glosses that have a lot of chemicals.
As an alternative, I suggest use of allergy-free lipsticks. These are usually free from fragrance and don’t cause
any harsh reactions. If you are already suffering from angular cheilitis then make sure that you consult your
dermatologist before using any lipstick at all.
If you are already suffering from the issues of chapped and dried lips then risk of angular cheilitis is fairly
high. It is actually the beginning of disease.
I once used an expired lipstick and got some swelling in my mouth. However, a friend advised the use of
anti-allergens that helped me reduce the problem from getting worse.
It was also the last time that lipstick touched my lips and I disposed it off. But can you imagine what would have
happened if the situation got worse. I would have had another case of Angular Cheilitis.
When I suffered from Angular Cheilitis, the pain was so strong that I couldn’t even smile or express anything for
that matter. These are important points that you should give some serious thought
