I loved watching the coming attractions when I was a child. The fantasies about what might take place in the film that would come in my local theater next month was almost as good as seeing the final product.

But that was then, back when they leave you thinking.

Now trailers are just one tentacle of an octopus with eight arms assault tours, blogs, events, talk shows promoting and pre-release products, to ensure that all audiences have an insane amount of information P90X before the movie even arrives.

Oddly, for all the lack of mystery involved, this is supposed to convince the audience rode up the money to watch a movie in its first weekend before ruins everyone with spoilers for them yet more. The words "too much" or "too soon" and not part of vocabulary of any marketing team.

When the following p90x workout films open, it will be my job as a critic to see them. And I promise you approach them receptively. It is impossible to call them overrated before they happen, but I'm tired of the endless chatter I hear about how amazing it will be.

All those other movies starring go-to funny nerd Michael Cera - a distribution system known as a boy clumsy-rising-to-the moral challenge - simply were not enough for me. I needed more. And I needed last year at San Diego Comic-Con to launch officially the breeze blowing small tornado become the current hype. insanity workout And I needed the damn director Edgar Wright for the exceptionally cool "Shaun of the Dead" and the hilarious "Hot Fuzz" as a follow up to me and everyone else's expectations could be raised to the ceiling-is-the -fire levels.

That's a potent combination of elements that, on its own does not necessarily translate into something like trying frantically anticipating this film is improvised. I think about everything to do with prisoners of war and BLAMMO Krash and pieces included in the trailer. And I mean when people punching or kicking in this movie, those words actually appear on the screen, making a literal adaptation of the comic.
