These types of little devices are excellent tutors within the realm of maximizing your golf shot range, and also calculating your game play progress, although hardly any golf players seem to recognize this. I was recently at a golf resort talking with a few golfer friends, and they pretty much all looked really surprised when I showed them my GPS for golf device. That said, I felt just a little compelled to write this article in an effort to share how these small electric gems can easily enhance an already exceptionally enjoyable game!

On the list of main reasons behind them never looking into the GPS for golf product line, was because of the weather conditions they were able to play in. One golfer stated that he did not mind playing in the rain every once in a while, stating that it basically inspired him to hit the golf ball longer distances. After i told him that GPS for golf systems generally come with a resilient, water resistant exterior, he was shocked and set about explaining to me that, if he had known that, he would probably have invested in one a long time ago. Yet another golfer, who had been quietly listening to our discussion, piped in by saying, “can you view the GPS's readings when it's dark?”

This specific question was very easily answered, because all I had to do was to show him how the backlighting system works, as well as the light resistant shielding placed over the screen. They both were shocked to discover that, whether you're in the pitch dark, or under the direct influence of the Sun's rays, these little GPS golf systems are highly legible and, more importantly, easy to understand. Most of them started siding with my viewpoint once they realized the two aforementioned features, however, there was one or two of them who were a little skeptical on how their devices could keep track of the ever changing nature of their own regular golf courses.

Naturally, GPS golf devices already have an application for this, so I began telling them how my latest Gps system had what was known as a Base Map Directory. Simply, all I said was through this directory, I was able to gain access to all the maps within the USA with great precision. After a question about updating arose, I began showing them on the Gps system where a USB connection could be linked to a computer system for the downloading and upgrading of course maps from the manufacturer’s web site, totally free!

Right after I explained all of this, several of them asked me where I ordered my Gps navigation device and quickly made a note to order a device for themselves. After i returned to the golf club a couple of months later, the majority of the golf players I had spoken to began to show off their brand new GPS for golf systems that they had bought since our conversation, although they proceeded to point out that I was holding back crucial information! These people went on to ask me why I didn’t tell them that their GPS for golf systems would also offer electronic scorecards; range calculation as well as game play evaluation. I just shrugged my shoulders and stated, “Half the fun is uncovering a couple of things for yourself.”
