When you are preparing for the interview at your favourite college, probably the most difficult moment is to choose what you are going to wear to impress. Dressing for a successful interview at college is probably one of the most important things and you should pay the maximum attention you can because you have only one opportunity to impress. You must make sure is the best choice. You have to be very careful with clothing when you prepare for a college interview, especially for a scholarship, and avoid wearing any untidy clothes, very short skirts or any unusual clothing. When you go on an interview the first thing the recruiters see is the way you are dressed so if you want to make the impression possible you have to make sure the clothes you are wearing not only makes you feel confident but also look the best on you. The most important thing about clothing is that you have to be sure it is clean, does not have holes or it is torn. Maybe the most efficient thing is to choose conservative dress for the interview. Young women should opt for a skirt, shoes with low heels and a simple blouse and should avoid sneakers, open toed shoes or high heels. She should also wear stockings, in any season. Young men should wear a dress shirt, dress slacks and of course they mustn’t forget to wear tie. What concerns your hair, it is best to be washed and worn in a simple but impressing way. It is not necessary to have some complicate hair do, but you do not want to go with dirty or sloppy hair do. The best way to look at an interview is natural, but yet professional. Nowadays, young people think it is trendy to pierce their ears several time or have pierced other parts of their body. You should remove all the pierces you have except for one in each ear. Pierces and tattoos do not make a good first impression so if you have tattoos; do what you can to cover them up. Ladies should select light shades of makeup and try not to overdo the makeup in order to have a conservative makeup, as for spraying, both ladies and young men should not overdo any spraying, you have to smell delicate. Another important thing recruiters notice about you at your first meeting is your hands. If you are a young woman, you must have your nail manicured to a opportune size if they are long. Young men have to be sure to clean their nails and both genders should make sure that their hand are not dry because you will have to shake hands and people notice if anything it is not like it is supposed to be, so make sure your hands and nails look good. Of course, when you go to an interview, your expectation are high because you know you worked hard to get there so you would not want to ruin something on the first impression. If you dress appropriately, you show the recruiters that you admire and respect their college. Do your best and make sure you make the impression of a young woman or man who really wants to go to college and further on to become a professional person.
