In fact Samsung was forerunner in offering the market with mobile phone having 12 MP camera. But, Sony Ericsson subsequently followed the suite introducing Satio with equally potent camera. However, they differ on resolution; Pixon 12 holds a higher resolution at 400 x 800 pixels as against 360 x 640 pixels of Satio. This may not be at all a mark of disturbance for Sony Ericsson. Satio scores high in size of the screen which is 3.5 inches as against 3.1 inches of Pixon 12.

Taking a look at more features of the photographic abilities of these cameraphones reveal a few variations. Satio’s set of quality goes for LED and xenon flashes, auto focusing, face and smile detection, active lens cover; and geo-tagging. Comparatively, Pixon 12 heads for two similar flashes, auto focusing, geo-tagging, auto mode face detection, smile detection, image stabilization and variable aperture lens. Both the brands have video recording features at 30 fps, Satio offering VGA support and Pixon 12 offering D1 support. Perhaps the features collectively offer expert photographers the needed aids to take wonderful shots than general users of mobile.

Taking a look at other features can begin with comparing the display. Samsung M8910 Pixon 12 sports 3.1 inch AMOLED resistive toushscreen whereas Satio sports 3.5 inch resistive toushscreen. Differences of screen resolution account for 800 x 480 pixels in case of Pixon 12 as against 640 x 360 of Satio. The UI of Pixon 12 is latest TouchWiz 2.0. On the other hand Symbian OS 9.4 with S 6o 5th edition features as the UI of Satio. However, both of these handsets feature built-in accelerometer. The dissimilarity of these two brands converges at having glittering black cover, of course in a bit different tones.
