Oct 19, 2009 –Singer/songwriter Steve Cooke has received a nomination for his song “Working for the USA” for the Hollywood Music in the Media Awards (HMMA). HMMA chooses only a handful of Nominees from thousands of submissions worldwide.
“Working for the USA” is the new single from his new album that he is recording in Hollywood. “Living in the US and being a part of the change has been one of the greatest experiences of my life and I hope this reflects in this new work,” says Steve.
Steve has entertained many prestigious venues in Europe and the South Pacific and has performed for such luminaries as Prince Charles, Heidi Klum and Bill Clinton.
Steve is now living in America and is currently running hot on the Hollywood circuit, bringing down the house at legendary venues like the Viper Room, the House of Blues, Key Club and others.
