Two mistakes to avoid
Do you want to save time and money when running an online business? There are two big mistakes you have to avoid when starting and running your business online. There are lots of average people starting online businesses and while some people succeed, others fail. Sometimes, the reasons which cause your online business to fail are very simple. There are two common mistakes that make people fail. If you fix these your business can last and benefit you for the rest of your life.

Mistake Number One: Don't have the right mentor.

When you are new to internet marketing world, it is very easy to be overwhelmed with load of information (rubbish) on the Internet. You do not know what info is right or wrong and even what to do with this info. You do not know how to find a legitimate and profitable money making opportunity, how to buy a domain name or how to set up a hosting account from the scratch, and a lot of others 'how-to' questions that you might have in your mind. You need to find the right mentor who has experience and knows what you are experiencing now and can give you helpful advice as well as show you exactly what you should do to get best results. When you would like to use ezine advertising to make money your mentor can show you how. You cannot simply go out there, find and read some info related to ezine advertising, and then begin buying ezine advertising. It's a huge mistake as there are many respects that you cannot know if you do not have a mentor to show you what you should do. Do you know how to test and track? Do you know which service or software you should use to do your tracking? A good mentor can help you know exactly what you cannot know unless you invest your money to be taught. One thing you need to know from the start is that nothing is FREE. A good mentor has first hand experience. They are successful in their business venture online.

Mistake number Two: Don't have a website.

Many people say that you could make money easily without owning a website. All you should do is to set up an Adwords campaigns and put your affiliate link into 'destination link' box. Then, if someone clicks on your ads, visit the merchant site and buy items when they are at merchant site, you get paid. Another 'advice' is to join affiliate program you like, and then put the affiliate link at the signature file when you post something on Forums, or message board. Frankly, these ways might generate several sales for you. But, they are surely a waste of time and money in terms of long-term internet income. Besides, having a website will give you a better chance to make internet income. For example, you can add more affiliate programs on your site or you can also put Google adsense code on your site to make money from Google. An online business is an invaluable asset to anyone looking to a better life that they have dreamed of. The income it offers will help just about any ordinary people live the lifestyle they want. Most importantly, it provides the sense of security that you cannot own if you are doing a day job you are tied to.

About Author

I am married and my wife s name is Phyllis. We live in Atherton which is west of Cairns in far north Queensland. I have been self employed for over 35 years. The majority of this time was as a dairy farmer. Recently we have had a change in the direction of our life and have become very interested in an oline business. This has been challenging and rewarding. I have enjoyed learning from mentors about marketing my business and myself online and offline. Both my wife and myself have realised how much we missed in the way of sales as a farmer. Farming in Australia needs a big dose of entrepreures right away to get on track in selling their produce. I believe this is a role we can do and need to do.
