The results showed that after over 12 months, Reductil weight loss of about 5.2 kg is delivered compared with 0.5 kilograms of weight gain with placebo. During the second phase of the study, patients who had already lost about 2% of their initial body weight after 4 weeks of treatment were divided into 2 groups - Group 1 and Group 2. Group 1 was continued to be treated with Reductil and Group 2, which placebo was administered for a further 48-week period. The results showed that the group 1, treated with Reductil, showed a steady decrease in the weight loss of about 4% of patients, as compared to a profit of about 0.2% with placebo. The third and final phase of the study included an examination of patients who had shown about 5% of weight loss after six months with Reductil. The patients were successfully held and lost the weight and could not gain any weight even after a period of six months. Contrary to this, the patients who received placebo started to gain weight. The studies show that Reductil is dug a very effective for weight loss. At the end of 18 months showed that 80% of all patients who had received their Reductil weight loss and not get back into weight as opposed to 16% on placebo.
