Genetically-Modified Foods, Vaccines & Diseases
Agribio giants have been placing BT genes in seeds that act like herbicides and split the stomachs of bugs and killing them. These seeds do grow into potatoes and vegetables, and such genetically-modified foods (GMO) are placed in supermarkets and finally onto our plates, unknowing to us as GMO foods are not labelled as so. Farmers in other parts of the world are unsure of their future; many in the USA and Canada have been sent legal threats to either buy patented (GMO) seeds or face legal suits. As GMO have only been tested on animals, this means that humans have become "experimental laboratory rats" for the past decade. There is no legal requirement to label GMO foods. Aspartame is a recognised genetically-modified sugar made from E Coli bacteria, for example. One of Singapore's more well-known blogger and health advocate, Kelly Chen ( MyQute.com ) is now warning the public of the dangers and risks of GMOs. She said,"It seems to me that my country's local authorities are currently unable to publicly quote a single scientific source from WHO (World Health Organization), to show that GMO foods are safe. As per reply from one of the statutory boards (public forum), I believe they are starting to create regulations for GMO foods. This may be a good start." Kelly is not alone in her beliefs, even Indonesian Health Minister Siti Fadilah Supari, believes that the H1N1 (Swine) Flu is a genetically-modified disease, born in science laboratories. "Like Sars, Aids and the Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease, the public would not have suffered so much had these genetically-modified diseases be stopped. Since the time of anthrax poisoning (poison spread via envelopes, packages), 29 microbiologists have either been murdered or died under mysterious circumstances, to keep the truth from public. Everything from prescription drugs, to vaccines are now quite suspect to me since H1N1 was accidentally spread through contaminated batches of vaccines sent to 18 countries in late Feb 2009 by a pharmaceutical company named by Bloomberg News. And if genetically-modified foods are really feeding more starving and hungry people, I wonder why there are still so many hungry people out there? If you have not caught the misconceptions, it's perhaps time to sit up and take notice. Because GMO foods will mean an apocalyse to all living. The signs are all there - from contaminated rivers to more people dying before 60! When people fail to co-exist naturally with as little interference to nature and animals' foods and habitats, the whole food chain is affected and it will be detrimental unless we do something.
