The training should start from the first day, even though the puppy looks to be very small. Already it has been learning from its siblings and mother, and puppy will now be charge and dependant to you for all its needs. This is the best way to create relationship with your dog. For instance, if your puppy had all vaccinations and you are capable to take it for a walk then this would be a good time to let it off the lead. The puppy will realize your importance and will follow you. If this type of routine is started in early stages of puppy’s life then the puppy should remember very well when it is older and has a mind of its own. Many dogs require stimulation of training and play, and if the training days are carried out in short terms then the two can be joined very successfully. As the puppy gets older, you need to emphasize when the training lectures ends and play starts, but to start with it is a good idea to keep the sessions less formal. The dog must consider you as the “pack leader” but it is necessary that everyone in the family takes out some time to train him, so that he understands his position in the family and feels safe and secure. This will improve the relationship he has with everyone and he feels like member of your pack. The training of dog is not just obedience but most importantly, it is about communication with your dog, so that you understand and respect everyone. This creates a link between you and allows a dog to lead a much good life. Dog training can be done by some trainer or you can do it yourself. The training of dog with a good instructor may vary in cost and it generally takes place in a class. If you do training yourself, it is free and you can easily do it at your home. If you choose to train the dog yourself then it is best to get knowledge on dog training.
