The ABC Rule of MLM Presentation
Because friends have the tendency to view you as an equal, they don’t acknowledge your success and are very judgmental of you. Therefore it is difficult to make them listen to you. They see your weakness and judge your presentation, and they may sometimes make jokes about you trying to recruit them. Our advice is for you to leverage on your uplines or leaders to ask them to help you out with your first few appointments. They have the experience and the influence to present to your friends or family members. You can make use of them to build your network. In this case, you have to practice the Rule of ABC. A being the Advisor or Upline, B being the Bridge which is you. and C is the customer which is your prospect. You have to ensure that you bridge your prospect to your leader or upline. You must ensure that you have clearly tell him or her of your upline’s achievement in the company or in the industry. In this case, your prospect will look up to your upline and readily listen to what he or she has got to share. Sit next to your prospect during the presentation, to give him moral support. the last thing you want to do is to leave your upline do the presentation to the prospect alone. This shows disrespect and insincerity to recruit your friend. During the appointment there are also a few things you need to watch out to increase the effectiveness. Don’t try to help out your upline and give advice, you should just agree to what your upline says. Your upline won’t help you close your friend, you need to close your friend yourself after the presentation, give moral support that it is the right choice to join you, and the chances that your friend joins you will be quite high. You should also be doing problem solving if your friend is reluctant or indecisive. Give support as a friend, so you won’t be too aggressive or pushy. It’s not worth losing a friend over this.
